has a slight hesitation.......

whatup guys, i'm a newbie, got a quick question. got a 83' with a 302 and a 2v carb, when i put the gas down whether its warmed up or cold it hesitates so bad it almost cuts out. has new plugs, wires, cap and rotor, maybe timing or carb adjustment? lemme know what you guys think

Sounds like a float adjustment on the carb. Check timing first then go for the carb if that doesn't help the problem. That kind of thing usually happens with an old float or a badly adjusted one. Basically it drops too soon or too fast causing an inrush of fuel which is trying to flood it. If it was temperature sensitive I'd be more inclined to think it was choke adjustment.

Check the EGR valve if you have one.
