In Dash Instrumental Panel clear face plate...

I heard it called a lot of things. I am looking for a replacement piece of dash glass to cover my instrument panel. My current on is craked in two spots. Anyone know what this part is called and if it can be found online anywhere?

I don't know, but it comes off and should be very easy to find at a boneyard. They rarlelt crack or anything, and harly anybody ever needs one. There should be lots of them there. I know that it comes off of the cluster because I took mine off to get a small dead bug out that got in there somehow.

At least the clear shield comes off on a 1990. I think I saw in another post that you have a 1996. Probably still comes off though.

Instument cluster lense(can be cleaned with a good wax and VERY fine compound and a soft cloth if you fine a good used one)

Great thanks. I seem to have trouble finding Broncos in junk yards...my guess is that any Ford truck around that year should have the same Instument cluster lense...I was thinking of taking it out and going to a place near me that sells plexi. they do custom cuts and the like...I was thinking of having them cut me a new one...but I am unsure if that is a good idea or not...

Try checking www.broncograveyard.com They have alot of good parts. If you don't see it listed, email them to have them check their stock.

Does anyone know if this is a special kind of plexi in there or would any type of plexi work? I think I am gonna make a template and have a piece of plexi of equal thinkness cut to fit...

Should just be standard plexi. Its not a safety item or anything.

Looks like that is what i am gonna have to do. You can't find the piece anywhere. I got a reply from The BroncoGraveYard and they said they don't have any and it isn't available new. Maybe if it works i will get a nice amount of the made up and sell them online...

Not a straight piece of plexi- Give your Ford parts dept a call, you may be surprized (hint ALWAYS ASK CAN'T YOU DO BETTER ON THE PRICE-after they first tell you what it costs!!!- I work at a dealer)

Not a straight piece of plexi-
I realize this. I am looking into it. I believe they can make the bends and the like. I can drill the holes in the right place myself.
