I'm a new user of this site, own a 46 Ford 1/2 ton, and am wondering if anyone has had experience with fiberglass aftermarket fenders. I'm curious about the fit, etc.

I have a 46 1/2 ton that I've owned for several years. It came with the fiberglass rear fenders and I have had them off once. They seem to fit fine but I do like metal body parts better myself.

My rear fenders are really rough, may have to explore the fiberglass route. I agree, I'd rather have metal, but 42' - 47' are tough trucks to find parts for.

I just came across your post on the Ford Enthusiasts forum asking about fiberglass fenders for your Ford 1/2 ton. Were you able to find fenders to fit the truck? I'm currently looking for rear fenders for my '46.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion, Chris! I contacted the guy you mentioned and was able to buy his fenders - one of which is NOS! Happily, I can stick with all steel fenders now.
