I am looking for info on swapping a 7.3 Navistar into a 1975 F250 4X4. I would appreciate any help with sources of info and parts.

 

i've seen it done on 2 separate crew cab's here in eastern nebraska... both were 73 series pick ups and were done very nicely, but i don't know how tough it would be... my opinion i don't think it would be to tough... tranny and motor... extra fuel lines and batteries... watch all the wiring... should be ok if you got the tools
seen a 3208 cat in one and also a 3 cylinder detroit in another. some kind of old timey conversion kit.
had a ditch witch dealer here that swapped out his 460's in his on his f350's and placed isuzu's in them... and he could do nothing but praise them... with one exception... the isuzu kept breaking axles, had to get custom built axles in them to hold it all together.

 

i saw an 80's F-series truck with a 3208 cat in it. the guy extended the front fenders and moved the cab back. It looked a little odd.

 

I bet it was fun to drive!
