Glove Box / console lock

Well, I suppose if you are a handy guy you could get a lock cylinder and locate one on your door. Get the cylinder that is most common. It's the same one you see on canopies, tonneau covers, furniture ect....
Beware though. If someone sees the custom lock, it will give them a bigger drive to bust out your windows.

I had the same problem with my truck. I had one of my guns stolen out of my 99 f150. Now that i have ordered a new 150 i am concerned about this again. I am a law enforcement officer so i can carry just about anywhere but there are a few places that we cant. I have been searching for a lock box for a truck and i found a small thin box that was foam insulated and had a cable attached to it so you could lock it around your seat post. It was big enough to fit a 1911 model 45 caliber and one spare clip. I found this item on ebay but i was out bid . I contacted the seller but he wouldnt tell me who manufactured them but did say that he has a few of these and would be listing another soon. It sold for around 30 bucks. Hope this helps. Good luck, and please lock up those guns, The last thing we need is more criminals with guns.

I keep my S&W 642 in it with two speed strips. But, I've also had my Kahr P9 in there too.
