I am considering a Generation 2 cold air induction and a Gibson exhaust. Anyone have any personal experience with how much or how little these two products add to the power and performance. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes it was a typo, 4.10 gears if I'm not mistaken, Thanks for the advice, I won't spend the money there if noticable changes can't be had. What about removing the fan from the motor and installing an electric one? How much horse am I losing with the stock one still on?
Thanks, Tuna

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-Jan-02 AT 09:12 AM (EST)]I hear, close to 40HP overall. Take a look in the V10 forum under a topic called "Ever heard or used one of these?" There is a web address to a company that markets a fan clutch. Read the replies and visit the site and judge for yourself.

Too bad. I bet a 5.4 w/4.30 gears would scream! :-)
Are you building a hot-rod or do you use the truck for "work" mostly? If it's a "work" truck, you might want to reconsider the fan replacement. Moving a heavy load at a slow speed can build temps fast. Electric fans may not provide the necessary airflow to keep everything cool.
