What is the best cetane boost to buy for your buck?

 

most will say standyne. I have never used it, it isnt readily available. Diesel Kleen Works great too, and is pretty cheap.

 

Power service diesel kleen is good and available almost everywhere...that is the gray bottle. Just remember if you looking for a cetane boost and an anti gel formula you need to use the power service in the white bottle.

 

There's a great thread going at the top of the list, which was started by gchavez titled: "Diesel Fuel Additive road test results". In it, he explains how Diesel Kleen can positively impact cetane rating. Though I'm a believer in Stanadyne, he makes a good point.
