leveled with 285/65/r20

Does anyone have any pics of a leveled f250 with 285/65/r20s?
Thinking about going this size after my stock tires are finished.
They look like a good size for fuel milage and also not too tall for a nice low profile stance.
I've got a 2022 black platinum 250.

Go 295s and it’s the best look on a stock or slightly leveled SD

The 285s look a little small still on these big trucks.

I always end up with a 295 at some point in owning a truck and it’s a nice upgrade over the tiny stock tires.

Wow, truck looks great 👍👍
Was a little worried about the height.
I like the lower profile look, but this looks fine.
thanks for the pic.

295s do not look big on these trucks. They look just right in my opinion.

somehow always end up with 37s on my trucks in the end because I can’t help myself, though. But the 295s make a great tire that fit the truck better without looking oversized. It’s a good tire IMO

That in a 285 is actually a hair taller than a 35x12.50. Would be fine on stock wheels with a 1 or 1.5” level kit.

SO IS THE 35X12.50 OR THE 295 TALLER?

I say I was worried about the height because I like how easy it is to get in and out of the truck as it sits now.
Don't want to have to step up much further than I do now, but i like the leveled look.

Anyone else have any pics out there with 285s, 295s, or 35s?

The 295 typically is 35.1” tall x 11.8” wide. The 35x12.50 is 34.5 x 12.50. The 285/65/20 bfg is 34.6 x 11.25” and 62 lbs.

If you have 6.7 & 5200 springs I would just run a 1 or 1.5” inch under spring spacer and Fox2.0 or Rancho rs7mt shocks if it isn’t a dedicated tow vehicle (I occasionally tow a 14,500 conventional and 17,000 GN with them),or Bilstein 4600 or 5100 if it is. At around 5,000-10,000 miles on the truck (make sure its not a lemon), I would also install a Fox IFP steering stabilizer and 1 degree drivers side caster bushing and 1.25 degree PS bushing.

You should also consider running the 295/60/20 Cooper AT3, its a little oversized for a 60, a hair over stock height and as wide as you can go on stock wheels and only weighs 59 lbs. Would look fine on a 1 inch lift.

I probably wouldn’t go over 1” or 1.5” on your truck from what I am reading. You also need to look into rear blocks when going over that height.

You can also run 5200 tremor springs and get 3/4-1” as well so you don’t have to mess with spacers. If it was my truck I would do that and the 295/60/20 cooper at3 since you are worried about height and mpg. Should change the look just enough.

Thanks for all the info Joe T, that sounds right on the money.
Ive got the 7.3 gas.
I’ll likely just lift the front as i don't really want the big lifted look.
I like the low profile level look.
Does anyone have any pics of the 295/60/20 Coopers?
i hadn't considered coopers before, Ive always been a BFG guy because the road noise/traction and looks all seem to balance out. I really dont like road noise but have to have some type of more aggressive tire since i drive LOTS of gravel road and also mud.
