2022 Platinum 350 - B&O System -Speakers
Just called Crutchfield to do a Speaker Upgrade-(JL AUDIO C2 690TX For the Fronts & C2-650X for the Rears)
and the Sales Guy Talked me out of it....He said that it would make that much of a difference ..He said the B&O system is specked out to use all the components together..
Like a Bose system in Chevy..He also said It would possibly sound worse ..because it lacks power ..(dont know what the Ford Amp puts out for wattage)..Guess I have to a put a whole system together..
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I generally agree that just replacing the stock speakers without increasing power won't do much. Most aftermarket speakers are spec'd to handle way more power than the factory amp provides to the paper speakers, and underpowering speakers doesn't lead to great sound quality.
I personally left my stock speakers along but changed the sub and powered with an external amp. Maybe someone here who's tried it can provide perspective on a simple factory speaker swap.

There have been enough threads on this subject, with posts from owners who did simply replace speakers and found a noticeable improvement, to make me believe them over the Crutchfield support. It would depend on speaker choice, I think it was the C1's that have been found to be an improvement over the stock "B&O" speakers. Is the improvement enough to justify the cost, that might be subjective. I watched a video from a stereo shop where they change the amp and sub along with some other items but leave the door speakers, claiming the setup improves the quality of sound from the factory speakers.
There are quite a few audio upgrade threads on here if you do want to get more in depth.

In my 2020 platinum I replaced the factory door speakers with the exact ones you noted and it was an improvement for sure. However I also did sound deadening all over the cab and doors and block off plates in the door so not an apples to apples comparison. I also upgraded the subwoofer and added an amp for it.

But basically was told I would need to gut the cab and start from scratch. All of a sudden, the B&O Unleashed doesn’t sound so bad!
