Come to your house is a bad idea

sometimes these updates brick the truck….if that happens…how will the pcm be replaced if the truck is in your driveway.

 

Uh, they would order the new part as usual and either return to your place to replace it, or they would have the vehicle towed to the shop if it can't be done on site.

 

My 2019 was in the shop for a couple of weeks back in November for a BCM replacement and reprogram. I don't know for a fact but I assume that they updated the software on the other modules while they had it in the shop. Since I got the truck back it has gone farther between regen cycles and the fuel economy is pretty dang good. I used to regen about every 300 miles and now it'll go about 500 mi.

in on a list for two tears now for my local and no appt yet.

 

On the list for what, the 20E07 recall?...or a PCM replacement?
