Clever. But a free scrap piece of 2-by lumber works too...

Hey... How dare you tell me how to spend my kid's inheritance!
But you are100% correct.
Neatness and Cool factor are there... will I buy it... probably not. I'll DIY something as I get more joy from that.

Nice little gimmick. I like that it can fold flat real quick but I'll stick to scrap 2x's and my hook on a pole to reach stuff way in the back.

Less than $20 at Harbor Freight... use it wherever you want... forward... backwards, doesn't matter.

Bed extenders have been on the market for years that do the same thing as this gadget, but bed extenders also will flip around onto the tailgate effectively giving you 1.5' of extra cargo space when needed.

This is my previous truck but you can add the F150 bed extender to the super duty super easy. Two rivnuts or bolts in the predrilled holes (yep, they're already there) and you're done. I'll snap a pic of my F450 later today but it's the exact same. I've used the same kit in EVERY truck.

I like how the video shows him standing on the brakes with one of those hard plastic bed covers. That will always happen with those that's why most folks don't use them. They are great for moving heavy objects, the cargo just needs to be tied down. I have a few of those expandable rods and a few milk crates, and a big tub but I have a rubber bed mat so stuff does not move much. In case some are wondering what those vertical slots are towards the tailgate on the side wall of the bed, those are for adding 2x12s to keep small cargo in place and prevent stuff from sliding deeper into the bed of the truck...if you need that type of thing. If you need it a bit deeper, build a box around the wheel wells.

You have to put "stuff" in the bed so it doesn't move. Loaded and ready for battle.
