There were oil pan leak problems with early engines. That was "solved" and I haven't seen a post on it for some time.
I have a '17, which is direct injection. I have not seen a thread or post with GDI valve deposit issues. '18 and up have both port and direct so that closes the door on the valve deposit issue. They also more torque. Mine is 325/375 and while I wish I had the '18 with 325/400.
Not long ago you would need a 7mpg 460 for that kind of torque.
The rear tires are in constant peril.
Expect about 18 mpg overall. Light loads and flatland trips will let run 23 or better.
