buying 78 f250 parts

Alright sorry if this isn't right its my first time using any sort or forum outside of Facebook and reddit. as of recent I've been looking for parts for my f250 and after asking some groups i have come up basically empty handed. no one seems to know where to buy parts from around Victoria Australia. ill put the list of what i need below. as far as LMC TRUCK and RockAuto both have some pretty horrid reviews online and i don't know where else to go. if anyone has recommendations or questions feel free to ask all help is much appreciated thanks

As far as parts sources, the companies below will be a good start ( of course, all are US companies):
National Parts Depot
Mac's Antique Auto Parts
Dennis Carpenter - Has original Ford tooling - parts are good but pricey
Jeff's Bronco Graveyard
Obsolete & Classic Auto Parts
Green Sales Has NOS Ford parts - must have original Ford part number (i.e. D8OE6A666B1A) to perform search

As you mentioned, there is also LMC, Rock Auto, and others such as Autokrafters and Blue Oval Truck Parts. I have had good luck with all, even LMC and Rock Auto.

As far as steering gear, I would look at:
Redhead Steering Gears
Blue Top Steering Gears

yep looks like I'm just going to have to pick one and hope they send the right stuff. there's one place in VIC I've sent a message to but they don't open till tomorrow so I'm hopeful that they can get the parts I need but they are pricy. $900AUD for a body mounting kit just seems a tad unreasonable to me at least. ill just do the good ol **** around and find out. the old f-trucks aren't as popular as when they first came over so not many people know a lot. I appreciate the help thought one step closer to getting it back on the road

Green Sales can look up the part number if the customer doesn't know it. Probably 80% of their customers are in this same boat.

greensalescompany.com .. Ships parts to foreign countries by Fed Ex

I'm pretty sure Rockauto will have 90% of that stuff, probably at the best prices, depends on how bad you get boned for being Canadian. I've bought hundreds of parts for various cars from Rockauto and have only got 1 bad order in that time, and that was a manufacturing defect, nothing to do with Rockauto themselves, and they sent out new parts, no charge to me. As long as you buy name brand stuff you won't have issues. Most people i see complaining are buying the cheapest grade parts and then complaining about part quality....

Hey 76
Welcome to FTE
Might check with 77&79F250 on here to see what used parts he has and can ship.
He is a great guy,, very honest and reasonable pricing good knowledgeable source of used parts.
Most times I prefer getting used original parts, clean them up and a little paint then look like new.
I do not know if he ships out of country but doesn't hurt to ask..

.

just to toss it out there, I like to use rockauto and some times napa to look up the parts numbers i need and then look on amazon, autozone, advanced auto,... whatever parts place you can think of. none of their parts filters for vehicles are perfect, but rockauto and napa seem to be better than most.

rockauto has great prices, but you pay shipping and sometimes their shipping is insane.

As of recent absolutely, had went to a bloke that ships f-truck into Australia to ask about getting a 7.3 IDI turbo for mine but you pay multiple times over the cost of a 7.3 just for shipping so I'm sticking with a 351C (also because the p plate blanket laws a ****ing stupid) that's why I was looking for an Australian supplier but I'm getting the slight feeling this is an American site so I'm a bit on my own as far as local goes.

I do and have shipped overseas, places like Germany, Denmark and even Sweden. I have not shipped to Australia yet....looking thru your list I would say 98% you need new anyway. Does you dash look like this one?

And your steering box mounted like this?
