F350 dash replacement

Looks for a recommendation from y’all. Trying to repair my extremely broken dash. Finally found a whole dash in pretty good condition. Bought it thinking it matched my interior. Unfortunately it is a dark gray dash, vs my light gray. Would you guys replace the current dash with this darker one? Or sell it and keep trying to find one that matches the truck.

True story, I'd paint it and use Ford plastic primer first
They used to send us dash parts that needed to be painted on a regular basis
True it will peel in several years so prep is the key

Since you're asking for opinions, is this your "nice" truck? If so, I would hold off until you find one the right color (but don't sell the one you have until then, just in case!)...if it's just a work/farm truck, swap it.

I would hold off for now.
The opal (light gray) one is much more common, being it is a 94-97 color
The Granite (darker gray) was a 92/93 color.
94-97 trucks are much more prevalent in the yards than 92/93 models

I would hold onto the older dark gray dash for a little while and look for the correct lighter color dash. If after some time you can't find on the correct color then just use the one you have.

You can use vinyl / plastic paint from SEM to get it to mach. Since it is a close color this would be a viable option. But if it were a red or blue dash I wouldn't go that route.

Nearly all interiors have bland colors. You could make it orange, blue, pink, white with red polka dots, etc.
