2024 f450 orders

Does anybody know when the 2024s f450 order banks open? Or if they will open 2023 f450 order banks back up?

From what I was told by my dealer, F-450 orders are sold out for 23. August I think is when the 24 truck orders can be placed.

I would say that I would build it up as best you can using the 2023 order guide, then print the 24 as soon as it comes out and go over your 23 build, making changes to it as needed, then rush right up to your dealership of choice and place the order.... however, due to commodity holds and the way that orders gets picked up, I don't think rushing in and placing the order will necessarily help any. Unless they are only allowing X amount of orders for 450's maybe. Hopefully, the 23 year is going to be a short run and they will get back to normal for the 24 MY... both in how they receive and complete orders, and in correcting all the mistakes they made on the 23MY!

Good luck!

If Ford slow dances my 450 I’ll be happy to wait for the 2024 and just pass on the 23 or buy and flip it. Used and no-mileage flipped SDs in my area are still selling for silly money

Im not going to be one of these poor dudes that waits a year for a 22 then takes delivery of a 22 while the 23’s are being ordered and scheduled for production in 45 days.

well, if ford keeps it up I will just order a 2024 gmc denali 3500, I kinda would like to test out the revised l5p motor. I would prefer the f450, due to commercial tires, and the ford dually looks better, and I cannot find a dealer ordering for invoice or less for GM trucks, and being I got my 22 f450 well optioned lariat for $70,800, I cannot justify paying much more. But, I really like the GM trucks, for longevity and working hard.

I ordered my 2022 in the 3rd day the order banks were opened. I waited 160 days, a good bit of which they were still building the 2021's. There was a great deal of angst, Well, there was more angst that there should have been. I was pretty certain this would be my last truck, and the prices have gone skyward and the hassle has increased exponentially.

So I'm gonna slowly and gently drive the the wheels of of it.

At about 650 - 700 miles a month it will take me 357 months to reach 250,000. (30 years) so yeah, last truck. I feel for all you guys out working that need to wear out your trucks to make a living. Especially those really big trucks. Bless you .
