Merry Monday morning Maryland, Bud, Ken, Tim, Roy, Denny, Craig, and all the crew. Glad to hear the leg did well and the Lincoln is clean. Like Ken, I have an Escape that could use some sttention and I am pretty sure is has a bunch of them tree sap spots.

Howdy Maryland crab lovers and Patriots....

I remember the days I lived in Patuxent River MD. (Jan 1980 - May 1984) Naval Air Test Center there..... I used to go crabbing along a sea wall on base. Also had a crab pot at the marina where I kept my sailboat.
I do miss those days....

Labor Day picnics are going to be a little damp..... We have light rain right now and 56°F. This might continue most of the day. High temp of 62°F expected.....

Morning World ! Don't know what happened overnight but I had to have twisted my rt leg in some wrong direction. Sometime around 5AM or so I had to get up for a pee break and climbing out of bed I had this bad pain on the inside of my right knee. It really hurt..... it didn't get any better after returning to bed and still had it when I did get up around 7:30 . I did take a Celibrex at the 5AM time and it seems to have helped just a bit. It hurt enough that I decided to take 2 Oxy's after I got up and B4 I got in the shower. It still doesn't feel a whole lot better at this time altho the pain has been dulled by the Oxy's. I'll put up with it for today and see if it gets better. If it doesn't I'll put a call in to the Surgeon tomorrow.

Thanks to the Red Sox beating the Rays yesterday and the O's winning last night's game with LA the O's are 3 1/2 games up in our division. Let's see if Ken's Sucks can do a repeat performance tonight !

Morning World. The knee is doing better this AM but still not back to how it was prior to my bad night Monday. I guess I'd better restart my exercises again too. If they hurt more than before I'll re-think that tho.

I got some sad news from my brother that the diagnoses about the tumor he had removed last month from his head came back as a death sentence . He may have 2 years plus or minus depending on the radiation/chemo treatments go. He will know more next week after they talk with the people that will be treating him. Guess there isn't anything suckier that than kind of news.

Thanks Ken, I know the Sox tried to help. We had to go into the 10th to win our game last night. We didn't fall behind tho ! Hope you do better in today's game.

 

Bud...sorry to hear about your brother...good thoughts for him as he begins his new journey in life.

I am so very sorry to hear about your brother's bad news, Bud. Family friends went through that a few years ago. The worst part is, it is not just your brother who will be facing this issue. It's everyone around him. All of his family and friends. Look for those that need support. Hug each other and express your love daily.
