What irritates me the most is receiving marketing emails telling me that now is the time to buy a new Ford vehicle. It’s been 5 months since I ordered my F350 HO Tremor and I’ve heard nothing on status!

 

From what I saw, Most of the scheduling for Job 2 done on April 4th, Was scheduling for May Production. I even saw one fellow post that he got his VIN and his Limited was scheduled for June 15th
So yes they are starting to schedule Job 2 trucks that are KR and above, But the dates are all May and June. I have not gotten a VIN, So I suspect I'm out past the June 15th date.

That would be a bummer they are already that far out and not one confirmed scheduled from the group here. Maybe the group here is a lot of Lariat Job 1 people that figured they wanted a truck not vaporware.

 

I ordered a job 1 Lariat that so far has proven to be vaporware. Ordered on 10/27/22 and so far only received an order confirmation e-mail from Ford on 4/17/23. As others have said here both the dealer and Ford customer support have been useless.

 

Ditto on this, ordered Job 1 Lariat 10/29. Still unscheduled-clean, no VIN, no ETA from my dealer on scheduling for production. I was at my dealer yesterday and they’ve only taken delivery of three ‘23 SuperDuty trucks so far. I was hoping to have the new truck before a camping trip in July, but that’s not looking likely. Fingers crossed for an update soon

 

I stopped getting the update emails. Last one was 1/29/2023 I think. Maybe they are 90 days and not 45 days. If 90, should see one soon. Sent email to dealer, but didn't hear back. May give them a call today and see if they have anything for me.

 

I would stand on your salesman’s desk to get an answer, in my opinion. I ordered 12/22/22 and my Lariat is arriving today. If you had ordered a Lariat (non Job 2) your dealer dropped the ball.

 

The only thing I was offered was to cancel the order and buy a used F250 off their lot that wasn't even close to the truck I ordered (and more expensive too).

 

Sounds like dealer smartass overrode customer service.

 

Well got eyes on my orders today. Beautiful truck. Unfortunately dealer wants to play games. They added without my approval $2000 worth of paint protection and door guards, etc. this was an xplan order. I walked away after professional telling how disappointing and deceptive that is. Sure they are thrilled to sell it for 15k over what I was going to pay. Any way, now what. Still want a truck but I’m willing to go across the country to deal with an honest dealer that accepts x plan

 

Wow, that's really terrible. My dealer accepts X but I doubt you want to travel to MA to pick it up. They have a few 23s in stock but mostly strippers and I'm sure you don't want to get in the back of the line again with a new order...

 

I have had good success with the Ford Chat, and my dealer is very good about updating me.

 

Call Granger in Granger IA. They will give you a fair price (no x-plan) and no games. You do have to go there to pick it up. But many people on here will give you this recommendation. May still be able to get a lower trim line, but may have to wait for 2024.

I have no connection with them, and ordered from my local dealer under z-plan after confirming if they have mandatory ad ons (they don't) but will see how it all plays out when mine comes in.
