I ordered an F450 Platnum in September. I got a build date email in early February. The first build date was March 7th. A couple of days later it slipped to March 14th. A few days after that it slipped to March 21st and then to April 11th.

Is there anything the dealers can do to push our orders through?

I think the correct answer is anywhere from 1 day to 1 year or longer.

There's the winning answer.
I was fortunate. The more I read on this forum, the luckier I consider myself. Ordered 10/27/21. Received confirmation email within 3 hours. Received VIN and build date week the very next day. 11/29 build week was pushed back to the week of 12/6 and the truck was built on 12/11. In my driveway on 12/21.
Some were about the same time frame, some were shorter. The vast majority have suffered multiple date push backs or have heard nothing for months on end. It's random and no one knows, I don't care what anyone tells you. Don't make plans around a new truck arrival date is the only advice that I have.

That is my main problem.... We usually leave FL in late April and I need to pick up the new RV in early April. The RV will be equipped with a Reese Goosebox and I'll need a goose hitch to pick it up. The RV dealer is located 12 hours from me. Fortunately, I have a friend with an F450 with a goose hitch that will let me use his truck to go get it.

If they would give me an accurate date, I could make plans to leave FL in the motorhome and come back to get it when the truck is in.

I hope for your sake that you can pin down a date. But if many of the posts on this forum are an indication, don't plan on it. A lot of guys have posted that they're due to pick a new RV like yourself, or that they have a vacation or trip planned where they absolutely need the truck. Many have been or will be out of luck.

Mine will be just under 4 months when it arrives this weekend. My buddies same dealer was 3 months. I would check with your dealer and see how long the average order is taking.... Most dealers in my area were 6-7 months. Except one dealer that was 3-4 months..

Too many variables to predict, your dealers allocations, how many orders your dealer has ahead of yours, options you selected, pandemics, peaceful protests involving fire and destruction, riots, wars, stimulus checks, etc…

I ordered my f350 lariat on 4/8/2021 and still have no vin or build date, have been in communication with the dealer every month or few weeks.

According to them, I am waiting on the fifth wheel/gooseneck prep package, I could skip this and get it installed elsewhere for 3k but why spend that when I can get it from the factory for $500 with full warranty and no one drilling up my brand new truck bed.
All you folks waiting on trucks from September/December etc just are getting started if its like me
I know many are getting their trucks delivered within 6 weeks of ordering too, just be talking to your dealer, find out what the delays are with your order before getting involved with the process

I ordered my F-350 Lariat CCLB diesel on 8 December. My salesman told me today that the order now shows "Priority 02". It started at 19, like many here. He said that means it should get picked up for production soon. I have a RV to pick up in early May, keeping my fingers crossed.
