Just now arriving back at the lake. Probably a good thing we left the camp set up…a good retreat.
Mother is stable, but not good. She will be getting moved back to the adult advanced care foster home she has been in and she will be getting put on hospice. Or at least that was the plan.

Today's weather turned into quite a wet, loud, windy light show. Sure hope that some of this wet stuff made it to the fire on the other side of the ridge. Lake was really worked up to the point I saw no reason to take the boat out in it. Some of the bigger white caps that I can recall seeing on the lake in quite some time. Still have occasional showers and water is now dripping out of the trees making noise on the roof. There are some pretty large mud puddles in various places as well.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 45 and looks like we could get a little more rain. Mostly overcast in the mountains but there are a couple of holes in the clouds that briefly lets the sun through. Weather forecast is calling for some showers today.

I think I forgot to share this with you guys. Hauled 2050# home from the feedstore this week with the 60 F250.



Took on a bit of a squat

Not sitting on the overload bumpers yet...

Plenty of power, brakes worked great too. Drive it right and only needed them at the turn onto my road and stopping at the shop.


50- 40# bags plus 50# chicken feed! I am very pleased how it handled. Drove 55-60 mph safely!

Reminds me I will need to get some Golden Fire. But, I use the feed store 600 feet down the road for my "warehouse". If I want, I can go down to the feed store, buy a ton and they will bring them down on the forklift and put them in the garage for me. No handling, sore backs, fuss or muss!

Morning all.

Busy weekend. eventually canned some tuna on Saturday but was a bit a fiasco making 3 parts run for the pressure cooker. Got it done though.

I need a couple tons of pellets myself and I need to fill the propane tank. Wish I burn those golden fire but that is a no go.

Back to a 7-5 day. Got an extra hour of sleep. yay! But won't get home until near 6 and losing daylight fast. Boo!
