Good quality American made torque wrench opinions

So while we are on the subject, are you guys sending them out to be calibrated or calibrating yourself? If your sending them out whom have you had good luck with? If your doing them yourself, what equipment are you using?
I have a couple SK Tools wrenches that I’ve had for years that need to be calibrated. Thanks Gents, Rye.

I just looked into this and it looks like I would probably have to send mine off. Was hoping someone local would be able to do it. The local snap-on guy can only calibrate a Snap-On torque wrenchs and they want over $500 for a torque wrench off of their truck so that's not happening. I found some decent looking torque wrenches on eBay but by the time I send it off to get calibrated I will be well over the cost of the new one.
That’s what I was afraid of, don’t want to scrap my SK but I can’t afford new ones. Also don’t want to spend as much having them calibrated as I would new.
Maybe a bunch of us do a group buy on one of the $500 ish dollar bench testers and send it around the FTE world as needed/requested? Course does your digital calibrator ever need calibration?LOL.

Or maybe this is a new “business” venture for you… Buy one then offer a very reasonable torque check service for the FTE. Pay for itself in no time and then you have a free tool to check your wrenches. With the bonus of becoming a “hero” around here.

I may look at buying a bench tester if enough people were interested, and if they hold there calibration. I’ll do some research.
