Thanks man...
Spent 6 hours under her yesterday and 2 hours day changing the seals on the oil cooler tube. Funny thing... didn't know what it was 2 days ago, today I think I could give a course on them. Leaked about 5 quarts of oil in my friends drive way.
Changing it wasn't bad. Severely misjudged the amount of coolant and oil in the tube when I pulled it though.

I really like the look of those wheels too. When we were in the Springs back in July they weren't letting folks drive up, had to park and ride for some reason. That's happened both times we've been there. So I haven't been able to get my excursion on pikes peak picture yet. We did drive over Imogene Pass from Telluride to Ouray though, that was fun.

Definitely. I've driven up multiple times, each time in different vehicles. This time I just idled up the mountain.
Coming down was a different story. Used 1st gear till I could smell trans fluid getting hot, the started using brake more. Pulled over a few times for pictures and let her cool down, didn't rush it.
Our alternator decided to die outside Santa fe, nm. Gauges suddenly died, then other things. Was able to get off the interstate and about 1.5 miles from autozone, truck died. Eventually got a jump, got to autozone, 20 minutes later we were back on the road with a new alternator.
Never a dull day

I was in the springs for about a week. We got married on pikes peak 2 years ago
We drove down to albuquerque for a a day or 2, went up Sandia Crest, and headed to Chama in the next few days.
I lived in the the springs for a while, and albuquerque for 5 years. Don't miss the city, but do miss the mountain life
