rear tank//straps/crossmember and skidplate are 1988 F350 cab and chassis. Sending unit/pump is a 1986 F350 rear with plastic tank. Delphi HP10182.
Front tank is 1991 F350 with 1986 F350 front tank sending unit/pump.
The crossmember and front tank support is from a 1991 F350 cab and chassis. The rear mount for the front tank is a modified 1979 bracket that is shortened 2 inches due to narrow frame of a Crewcab. I modified new 1991 front straps to work. I drilled and installed 3/8 riv-nuts in frame for 3/8 bolts to secure one end of each strap. I cut the”T” from an old strap and welded it to the new strap after trimming it to length. On the front, it bolted right back to the tank support. I also made a spacer to lower contoured bracket down 1 1/4 inches and shift it to the outside 3/8 inch.

Sending units up to 1986 will
work in the 73-79 dashes. After that the ohm range changed drastically.
you can get w or w/o fuel pump for both tanks.

I am in desperate need of a solid cab and shortbox. I am located in Wisconsin but will travel across states for clean ones. Please message me with any offers or insight to ones possibly available. Thanks.

Since DC is out of stock have you checked with the regular sources? It is not that bad to ship race trac trim. I sent using USPS a front fender and door set to California. Padded it all up and then tapped it to a piece of 1/8" OSB paneling (to help prevent bending). Made it there just fine.

I have one left over/lone race trac fender piece, but I can not remember if for the dvr or passenger side. I'll look tomorrow, it is 5* and snowing, so I am not going back out in it this evening.

I checked my parts shed. I do have a front fender race trac trim "set". The dvr side is 7 or better outa 10 condition (dent, scratch, bend wise), it has one little scratch. They do look a little faded, or oxidized. So I need to get it in the heated shop and do a little cleaning, to see if it will clean up.

The passenger side does have a little bit bigger spot/ding (you can see it in the pic),I believe could be worked out. But I know you only need the dvr side. Interested? Off to the PM's we go.

And yes to those who are wondering, those are 73-79 Ford truck SHORT bed OEM rails....and yes they are for sale.

So normally they are sold in a set, but I might have a lone survivor in the parts shed. I have it on the "list" to look for tomorrow.
