I bought this explorer when I was 14 and I have yet to find one like it, I know it’s a package D and it’s different but I have yet to find one with this paint job, I’m curious about this truck and want to learn more, if anyone has some answers that would be amazing!

I got a 82 Ford F-150 explorer edition d option but the original owner that bought it didn’t want a hood ornament I’d like more information on stuff other that trim like what diff is in it what auto trans is in it so if you have info please get back to me. My trucks name is Benny she’s a bit rough but wire brush vinegar then paint prep is keeping the rust from progressing. Going to patch soon. She’s a 302 also trying to figure out why she won’t run when o don’t know anything about the vac lines to the carb what to plug what to replace so yeah shop my me a text when ever
