Have you noticed the change in life. Decades ago stuff passed in front of the Camera.
You watched it mostly in silence but occasionally a band would play, a group would march,
a Cowboy on a Horse or a football team would exercise, the Cheer leader's would lead a cheer
and the crowd would wave their hats, light cigarette lighters and do the wave.
Now its talk, talk, talk, & a hot Blond will interview a fat old coach.
You never see a half time show except for the $10 million Half at the Super Bowl.
The pain, oh the pain.
So you change the channel and its one vocal meme after another.
Chuck Norris kills off the citizens of Blowout, Ma.
Something like that!

The guy called today. Says if we prepay the gratuities we can cruse most all winter for almost nothing.
So I said what are the prepaid tip / gratuities charge. $34,000 he said your room is empty. How can
we enjoy a winter vacation aboard ship in our MT Room. He just laughed and said it takes some
time to get your sea legs. The North Atlantic can be quite rough. We don't want you falling and hitting
your head on some furniture. I said thanks for the thoughtful gesture. Sure you know your going to
make close to 10 trips around the world this winter. Around the World means something else to me.

Why does the day begin at 12 midnight? What's so great about being up at Midnight?
Since the Sunup changes every morning and sundown changes every evening why would one not count the day at sunup? Do you x the day every morning or evening?
Have you noticed Holidays don't usually fall on the 1st or the 15th.

We were all somewhat stunned to hear the reply. "Midnight is 12 followed by a capital 'M', and noon is 12 followed by a lower case 'm'. Midnight is 12 Meridian and noon is 12 midday".
I don't know when the 12:00 AM/PM designations became the official signatures of midnight and noon, but the insanity around it isn't much better today than it was back then!
