Identifying rear axle

Hello I am trying to identify my rear axle in my 1978 f150.
I am not sure if the axle is original, it has no tag, has a sticker that is blank. It has the ford oval casted into it and "E5TW-AA" casted on the front. Has "5344" and a "3" casted on the back side. Has a 12 bolt cover, 8 lug hubs.
need to find out the ratio so I can match it with the dana 44 front.

Looks like a Sterling 10.25 from a 1985 or so F250. 8 lugs on 6.5" is the bolt pattern for those--is that what you have?

You should have 5 on 5.5" bolt pattern wheels up front.

Jack up the wheels and count driveshaft revolutions per wheel revolution. There were several ratios.

Can't get close? Pull the cover and count teeth.
