Every update is better than the last. I agree on the hardware for the trim rings. It makes a huge difference with such a subtle detail.

Did you use the factory 7.3 A/C compressor? If not, what did you go with?

I did not, I sold the factory compressor and am using a Sanden SD7. I'll be installing a Restomod Air kit to go with it.

Thank you, and yes I could still share that. I actually forgot it had been mentioned. I will get that off my phone and post it here shortly.

Definitely a great compliment, thank you!

Speaking of which, this weekend I completed the other side exit. So, for now anyways, the exhaust system is finally complete. I started it up yesterday afternoon and let it warm up. It sounds beautiful, music to the ears. However, I'm confident I'll be making a change, muffler wise, for the long term. For now though, I will have some fun letting the bald eagles scream a bit.

Here is my 7.3L Godzilla swap parts list I've mentioned before. I tried to clean it up a bit. It's not absolutely 100% encompassing, but it's very close. Since I finally finished building the exhaust, I took a little video. My phone speaker didn't capture it exactly as it sounds in person, but oh well. Still something for y'all to listen to, and to see the whole system, since I can't get it all in one photo.

I'm in search of a set of tow mirrors.

I've done some preliminary searching online, including eBay and marketplace here on FTE. But if anyone following my thread here has any leads, please let me know. The little tiny car mirrors my truck currently has, must go. They are next to useless, and I need more visibility anyways, for when we eventually tow a bigger camper later this summer.

I really like a backup camera when connecting a trailer and that makes me wonder why these aren't used to replace the rear view mirror and outside tow mirrors. The analog rear view mirror is useless when towing an enclosed trailer or camper. I've seen aftermarket alternatives to the rear view mirror that mount on the rear of the trailer/camper but nothing to replace the tow mirrors that make me feel like a non-flying version of Dumbo the Elephant.

haha yeah I'm all for the electronic rear views. I may actually consider one of them in the future, as most Airstream campers come with the rear tow camera.

However, I actually like the aesthetic of these 70's tow mirrors. I just need to get my hands on a decent set. The little car mirrors are about as useless as having nothing at all.

Indeed the west coast mirrors are way way better when towing and even just general driving/merging...etc. (Brown rig has west coast mirrors I refinished as compared to the type 9's on the white rig.)

Man your white SuperCab is just beautiful. Something about the whole truck, every detail comes together to make a perfect look. What are the wheel & tire specs on it in that photo?

Thanks wheelman...I think it's pretty much the same setup as your truck...17x9 MT classic 3 with 5" BS and 315/70r17 Mastercraft MXT.

I actually just changed it up with 17x9 procomp with 4.75" BS and 37x13.50r17 Cooper STT Pro's.

My sister in law got me a book published in 1986 on "monster trucks"...which at that time was still pretty stock looking rigs just lifted way up on rockwell's...next thing you know my credit card was on fire with more springs and more tire en route. LOL
