2020 or 2021 Airbags

Who has done airbags on a 20 or 21? What did you use? Gonna have a 13k lb Fifth Wheel attached to my 2021 CCSB 350 SRW and am thinking it will need some bags to help with the squat.

I've put airbags on all my previous Super Dutys and will put them on my '21 when it finally arrives.
I think it makes a great improvement of ride quality when towing a heavy 5er.
Firestone Airbags with remote controlled air compressor is the way to go. Unloaded I run 5 psi, loaded 65 - 75 psi.

A 350 with a 13k 5th wheel shouldn't need air bags.

I would look at Timbren's SES also before going the air bag route.

I went with the Airlift brand ones because you can run them flat if you want to. they say 5 lbs is a good idea but not required. they also have a bump stop built in.

they're probably all good it's just personal preference.

2020 F350 Platinum 4x4 6.7. I did the Airlift 5000 Ultimate+ bags just in case along with Rancho RS 9000XL Easier to do it while vehicle was clean and new. i also have the added weigh of the 60g S& B tank and a 11k# RV. Probably won’t need them but I have them just in case.

My F350 squats 3” when I have my 14,000 5th wheel mounted. It handles fine and rides nice like that. I have 7” of bed clearance and the RV is level.

The only issue is headlights at night are too high. I don’t tow at night so it’s not normally an issue. If I were to be driving it at night I would get airbags. But the again airing up the airbags would cause the RV to ride nose high.

I agree with others. I don't think you will need airbags. I have a 2019 F350 diesel shortbed and tow a 12K GVWR 5th wheel and also have a 260 lb B&W Companion Slider in the bed. The truck and trailer sits level and it tows great.

20 or 21 airbags

My 2019 F-250 has manual air bags and adjustable Rancho 9000XL rear shocks. I tow a 12,000 5er on long trips a couple times a year. The Rancho 9000s set at max setting really helps control cringeworthy, terrible bridge approaches and uneven road.

I manually pump the Firestone air bags to 40-50 PSI. Rarely need to add air. No squat. Rides as well as a truck towing 12,000 can.

I put Airlift 5000 Ultimates on my 2021 when new. Had them on my 2013 as well. Help with the ride with a heavy 5th wheel. Went with onboard compressor as well. I had them installed.....
