2022 F-350 Payload Capacity
#16
On the diesel it should be around 1/2 inch. Goes up 400 lbs capacity on the front axle. And looking at my truck with a gooseneck on it it looks like the front sits a little lower but for conventional towing it works against you some.
The gas motors are a little more confusing depending on what you option. Yeah some of them go up like 2 inches, like a 350 with camper/snowplow springs.

dtingle, Where is the VinCalculater located on the Fleet site? I've been searching through the fleet site and all I see are ads. I have VIN's for trucks I'm looking at online. I don't want to waste the dealers time, or my time asking for the salesman to photo and send me the stickers. Also don't want to get the dozens of follow-up calls from them as well. Thanks! Looks like VInCalculator has been removed?

Your 2022 diesel platinum F-350 SRW will come in at about 3300 lbs of payload. I’ve had a 2017, 2019, 2020 F350 Diesel SRW with most options except sunroof and they ALL came in with payloads between 3484-3523 lbs.
I tow a 14,000 lb 5th wheel and I’m right at my payload max with 2 people (400lbs) , 25 lb dog, 75 lb bedcover, 37 lb Andersen lightweight hitch and 2900 lb trailer pin weight.

Fifth wheel prep?
does your truck have 5th wheel prep? Looking at ordering a similar truck and trying to estimate what to expect for payload capacity.

Hope it gets built sooner than later. I ordered a 2022 F250 Lariat and the build date keeps getting pushed out. 4th notification says being built week of Dec 20th, ordered it mid to late Sept. Originally to pull a Travel Trailer. Since than we decided to purchase a GVWR 14,000 lb 5th wheel. Didn't order 5th wheel prep cause I didn't think I needed it but was able to get it put on the build. Today I plan on going to my dealer and nixing the order (no problem with dealer) and ordering a F350 XLT, 6 3/4", 4x4, 7.3L, 3.73 E locking rear, 18"A/S tires, 5th wheel prep and every payload capacity hogging option they had to offer for this model. I want to post the door sticker as soon as I get it so others can see the actual capacity for this vehicle and help them order new trucks in the future. I think the more door stickers, with listing the exact build to go with it, the better. Keep you all posted.

The payload blues
Last week I ordered a 2022 F-350 Platinum. The dealer said it would be delivered in 3-5 months. I'm looking for a high payload but there isn't any documentation available for 2022 trucks stating which of the GVWR capacities provides a high payload. All the dealer and I could go on was the 2021 specs. The 2021 specs show the 11,300 GVWR had the highest payload (4,460 lbs) but the dealer said he could only order the 11,500 GVWR (3,940 lbs & third highest payload available). I'm going to max out my payload long before I max out my 5th wheel towing capacity (something most people don't realize). I haven't received a VIN yet. Does anyone know the GVWR payload capacities for the 2022s?
My wife refuses to drive a dully or a long box. Those are her limits. I have a 2005 F-250 XLT. Doing my research into which truck to buy I discovered I'm at or above the F-250's payload with my 5th wheel. I have over a thousand lbs to spare in towing capacity.
Ordered: 2022 F-350 Platinum, Short Box, SRW, Crew Cab, Diesel, 3.55 axel, 11,500 GVWR, FX4, Moonroof, 5th Wheel Prep, 397 Alternator & Upfitter Switches. I know these will decrease my payload but I want "MY" truck.

So my 350 CCSB Lariat 6.2 4.30’s will come with the 11,300 lb GVWR. I didn’t request that it just came that way when we built the DORA. I like that it came that way because, like mentioned above, it has the highest payload at approximately 4400 lbs. I don’t understand how it will be considerably higher than the 11,500 lb GVWR? Also, I did order the sunroof, how much will that affect the payload? I’m not too concerned but just curious.
My toy hauler TT has a GVWR of 11,300 lbs so my GCVWR will be 22,600 lbs and my new truck GCVWR is 23,000 lbs according to what I’ve read. Now my toy hauler never gets near that weight, 7700 lbs empty and my toys are light. Will the sunroof affect my GCVWR also?

From what I have read the sun roof can subtract from the cargo carrying capacity, but by how much I don't know. Please post your door sticker showing the max load capacity and mention your trucks GVWR. Also, list all the Model info, powertrain, exterior and interior options and packages you chose. This will help all those with payload questions just like yourself and me included. thanks.
