OP I would add that you should not fold your mirrors durning freezing weather. I have seen them freeze up and bind really bad when trying to open. I had mine on auto fold because I was putting it in my garage. The other day I had left it outside all day in the freezing weather and they start binding as they where opening.

Hi all! I’ve been lurking for a while as I was figuring out what to get for my first pick up truck. Recently bought a new camper, 29’ Coachmen travel trailer and didn’t want to tow it with my 2014 Yukon XL Denali. Turned into a great excuse to upgrade!
Here is my Carbonized Grey with the 7.3 and 3.55 with locker. Black package, Lariat ultimate, adaptive cruise, adaptive steering, moon roof, LED headlights, clearance lights, upfitter switches, 397 alternator / dual battery, heated rear seats, trailer 360 cam backup system. I’ve been stoked with this thing!
So far I’ve put weather tech mats in it, picked up a Reese cargo bar, and put on a quick 670 miles.
Leaning towards a Retrax hard rolling cover. Buddy has one on his Chevy 2500 and I very much like it. Other than that, considering a little tint on the front side windows, and maybe a few little FORScan updates (numbers over gauges).
There’s a lot of great info on these forums, I have certainly appreciated it so far!

My sticker with the Tire and loading information says cargo and passengers not to exceed 4104lbs ford usually says 150lbs per seatbelted seat and then uses that as their cargo rating which would be 3,354. oops sorry I am not the OP and my truck is a F350 and has camper package

3.55 was just what I found. My camper will weigh 9k on the heaviest of days, I’m not pulling 13k on a 5er. I’m not too worried. My cousin has 7.3/3.55 to haul a 9k race trailer and loves it. I was more worried about it being heavily optioned to be honest. Plus this is a daily driver of about 5 miles each way. I’ll tow 8-15 times a year so I needed to just have something to buzz around in.
