pcv lines

I drive a 1981 f250 with the 400 in it the previous owner put a brand new carb on and didnt hook up the pcv so im gettin a lot of moisture in and gettin some pressure in the crankcase. im trying to avoid oil leaks and was wondering if someone could show me how there pcv system is set up.

I don't know what carb you have, but most of the aftermarket carbs have a port specifically for the pcv. The pcv valve goes there, and then there should be a fitting with a hose that goes to the breather in the air filter housing. The picture below us typical, though they show the PCV going to the intake. It rarely goes there, it usually goes to the carb or a spacer under the carb.
