No progress since 02/13/2021 - Was told Kentucky plant lost Saturday 02/13 as a workday due to weather? Not sure....

What's a safe timeline for when I should receive my VIN? I'm new to the whole process but my dealership hasn't even processed our check on my wife's explorer yet and its been almost 2 weeks and from what I've seen online is that they're quick on a sale but slow in the paperwork.

Estimated Delivery: 03/14/2021 (Alumizilla) (KY -> NC) - Invoice says 12 days. So I will report back once WBDO changes in status.

I assumed Two-Tone was slowing me down @ plant.

 

My dealer told me my date was pushed to 3/1 from 2/22. I also need a truck and I’m now over 11 weeks since ordering, no window sticker yet.

On top of the microprocessor shortage, and the (alleged) 7.3 shortage does anyone know if the weather is impacting the Super Duty plant? I heard Kentucky is being hit hard.

 

I talked to my dealer yesterday and they messed up something on my order and have to reorder.

 

It's all over the map. I just got my VIN; almost 7 weeks after the order was placed. Hope you do better.

 

The weather is not good in Kentucky. There will be delays.

Currently shows "in production" on the tracker. Date at bottom of the sticker shows 2/16/2021. I have heard that is the production date but the tracker doesn't show a production date. The dealer tells me it's 2/27 so not sure how to read into the tracker information.

I special ordered because I wanted a very specific truck. I a few must-haves but didn't need all the bells and whistles. My main need was I wanted Lariat but with a bench seat up front.

Crazy - we have very similar orders but I placed mine 11/30 and got a VIN 1/18 and I've had zero updates in my tracker at all, still "In Order Processing". Wonder what the hold up is on some of our trucks...

 

Yeah, it's a good question. I keep checking mine hoping to see the actual production date line populate and it does keep switching between "in order processing" and "in production". Currently, it says "in production". No clue what that means exactly that it was switching back and forth. I guess you don't have your window sticker yet?

 

Nope, no window sticker. Originally my dealer gave me a 2/22 estimate but as that date got closer with no movement I called and they informed me it was now pushed to 3/1. My confidence in this process has diminished to nothing so I’m looking for something else used or on a lot. I don’t mind waiting as long as there is a concrete end date but once the goalposts start moving, it’s time to me to find a plan B.

 

Have you checked for your window sticker on the Mach E or Alumazilla tracker? That's where mine showed up first,
