Palsapp now telling me VIN not found... how to track shipping?

 

F-250 STX CCLB 7.3 4x4 and I've been pushed out 2 weeks so far. I'm getting nervous as my build date is approaching the 5/31 cutoff. Would they possible force 2021 orders already scheduled into a 2022? I hope not as I can't wait that long for delivery.

 

They will still probably be building 2021's in June.
At this point it's looking like one of us may get the last 2021 that rolls of the line. LOL.

 

Mine exactly, long bed, but seems to have shipped and they actually pushed delivery up two days to 4/19. Here's hoping...

 

has anyone with a King Ranch or higher trim had their dates pushed recently?

Hoping to see a VIN this week, so I can at least start tracking progress. Based on the dates I'm seeing everybody post, I'm expecting to see a delivery date in June.

Originally scheduled for delivery 5/21, last week it was bumped to 5/28, now this morning when I checked, its been bumped to 6/4.
They bump it one more time, I'll be checking into cancelling it and re-ordering a 2022. Hell, at this rate, dealers may have 22's on the lot before I pickup my 21.
Going with a dodge or chevy is NOT an option....been down those nightmare roads before.

 

It's the same assembly line switching from 2021s to 2022s, right? Do they switch model years the week of July 4th? And if so, does that mean any 21 builds delayed beyond June would all be cancelled and have to be resubmitted on '22 order forms?

 

I don't believe it works that way.
As I understand it, the 2022's will begin production in June.
Who knows, maybe there will be 2021 and 2022 going down the line at the same time. There really isn't much difference between the two.

 

This happened to mine, as well.

VIN issued around 8 March
Planned delivery was 3 June, and a couple of days ago it pushed out to 10 June.

The timings of these are pretty crazy. There are folks that ordered well after mine and they are already delivered.

Fortunately, I don't need it until late July, or even early August. So, it just gives another month or so to save up.

That Sync 4 and 12" screen is drool-worthy for me. To hear the F-150 guys tell it, Sync 4 is night-and-day better than Sync 3. But I'd be happy either way, so we shall see!

 

Finally got confirmation ford accepted my order. Order was placed on the 11th, just got my Vin # today! My salesman said its supposed to be built 5/12. We shall see.

I have actually gotten more from Ford marketing than my dealer as he is a curmudgeon and is snarky if I ask him anything... and no, am not bugging him. Yes it would be easy to change but... they have my payment for the truck and I am fully committed.
