BTW-at what point during the process did you get the window sticker?

 

I received mine 35 days after placing the order. Ordered on 1/18, received VIN from dealer on 2/10, and the window sticker popped up around 2/23.

 

I looked today and seen it, so maybe Thursday or Friday.

 

Just found out my truck is in Benicia Ca to be trucked to Carson City Nevada. So the West Coast will get their trucks well before many in fly over country.

So did the train go to Calif to avoid weather or is this normal to truck from central Ca. ? Waiting 3 mos 1 week.

 

Your dates sound very similar to mine. Curious if it's a similar build. Ford estimated 75 days originally.

I was able to finally get my rail car number and sadly watching it sit in St Louis for the last week. Hoping it will leave soon for CA. Do you know how long yours took on the rail?

 

No I don’t know how long the truck has been in California. Apparently it’s been there awhile. It supposedly shipped from KTP on 3/07 and went straight to Benicia Ca by way of northern route. These trucks sit ....waiting to be grouped with other other rail cars that will arrive hopefully sooner than later. $1695 is a large sum for transport when week after week there is no movement.

 

Mine has been "in production" since 3-3, supposed to be delivered to my dealer in 9 days. Don't really see that happening if it's not in built status. I keep hoping that the tracker just isn't updating and it's already on its way.

 

Your tracker has not been updated. If it takes days to build your truck Ford would be out of biz years ago.

 

I tracked it right after I made that post and the tracker updated to built, lol. Now it says 15 days to delivery. I've had 4 dates on bottom of the window sticker that I know of. 3-3, 3-9, 3-11, and 3-18. Not sure what that means, but I am still hoping it gets here sooner than 15 days. Either way it's getting closer, and as long as I have it at the beginning of May, I'll be happy.

 

Those dates denotes an event regarding your truck has taken place. The last date was probably when the truck was dropped off awaiting a truck transport or something similar.

 

Yes mine changed. My original delivery date was 4/1 then it updated per my sales person to 3/24 now it jumped to 4/4 on the tracker.

 

Hard to believe much the sales people tell you. Typically they know less than the consumer.

 

Yes, but their computer should tell them the exact location of your vehicle. If your truck is waiting in a rail yard for over a week and the dealer doesn’t step in.....walk!
