Morning Denny, Craig, all D-ware and visitors. yup, it IS raining but we've had more in just one thunderstorm than we're gonna get in this ! Sun will be out here by 1:30PM. The so called hurricane (tropical storm) is moving north at a fast clip. 30MPH.. Thanks for the cup a joe.! (And the view)

Good evening all. Yes indeedy, it was a wind filled day. We had a tornado warning posted, between 8 and 9am, this morning. As it happened, the path of the "wind" was centered about 6 miles away. It pushed North East, right through Dover. I hear there is/was a lot of power outages and minor damage, but I have not heard of any serious damage anywhere. My neighbor received a very large tree branch, courtesy of his neighbor, on the other side. Fortunately, it just fell in the front yard and no damage to anything.
The sun was out, all bright, shiny and warm, from about noon on. Hopefully, that's it. At least for this week..

 

Glad no serious stuff from it there Denny.

Good morning Delaware. I hope everyone has made it through the past 24 hours without any issues. I read, in the local paper, Dover experienced some pretty heavy damage. Apparently a couple areas were hit pretty hard and there is some evidence to support the idea of a tornado touching down. Be careful, if out driving around today. Broken tree branches are still falling.
