Thanks so much!
It's been a long battle so far, but, I have enjoyed most of it.
I haven't restored a vehicle in years and it's great to have a group of young men to pass on what I know and to learn new things from.

I brought my blast cabinet home from my buddy's house and it just doesn't work right. I need a line dryer for one. I tried fine black diamond and walnut and neither one picked up well.
I got the other gill insert painted today along with the disk backing plates. They need another coat but I ran out of paint.
I am going to take a couple really bad looking parts to work tomorrow to use the big cabinet again.
And I finally borrowed the puller from O'reilly and took the power steering pump off the bracket. I am going to have to rebuild it because it's got a grind in it. Oh well, something new to learn.

The hub/rotor combos showed up today and the box was destroyed. Thankfully they weren't damaged.
I got the rest of the brackets and the power steering pulley (and my son's 300cd oil pan) blasted at work today.
I primed them and then scrubbed my oil pan and will take it to work tomorrow to blast it.

Thanks, bud. I count my blessings everyday. I got married last year to the love of my life. She took on all of this AFTER the stroke. When most folks would be heading for the hills, she stuck it out and has dealt with emotional outbursts, memory issues and sorting enough pills to put the mormon tabernacle choir in a coma.
She's also 11 years younger than I am and claims she has trouble keeping up with me.

The list of parts needed keeps getting smaller.
I have decided to go mechanical on the fuel pump. The more I thought about it, the more sense it made. Plus, I hate the whining noise.
I am visiting with the machinist tonight to see where we are. Hopefully, it won't be long until I pick up the block, rods and crank at least.
I figured out the wobble in the engine stand and am going to get some bolts to fix it tonight or tomorrow.
The calipers are masked and painted and look a lot nicer than they did out of the box.
I am debating on masking off the rotors/hubs and painting them as well.
Anyone interested in a factory 460 air cleaner?

This really sucks but, the crankshaft is bad. The machinist called and said to come look at it. Apparently, the slot for the balancer key got wallowed out somehow. No way to fix it.
So, I am going to have to reroute other part money to a crank. This will delay getting it running. But, I am NOT giving up.
