After work yesterday, I dug the connector for the brake pressure differential valve out of my spare harness. I lucked out and it just plugs right into the other. Then I wired up the new connector for my Back Up lights down to my T18 transmission. Also wired the Brake Warning light back into the harness. I need to get to the JY and find a 3 prong connector for my dual temp sensor out of a BMW. I found one on amazon or ebay for around $40. So, JY it is. I have the radiator hoses ordered and will be at Oreilley today. About time to start bundling up wiring and getting switches back in the dash.

Nice to get those parts off storage and installed. Can’t remember but if you’re using the factory diff brake block mount location, will you have room for headers pipes. That block could be mounted to the booster/mc and that might make wrenching on the brake lines easier in that position.
Nice clean work, looking forward to hearing how the power steering works.

I did find the temp sensor connector which is missing some wires. Need to figure out how the individual wires disconnect without breaking anything and get some more of the female connectors for it.
I decided against headers and am going to just use the stock exhaust manifolds. Also, the brake pressure differential valve is located back in the original spot. As far as the brakes go, I still have leaks when I press the brake pedal. So, I will be removing every line and redoing all double flares. Even the ones that dont leak 100%. I ended up getting a better flaring tool since i have possibly new brake lines and fuel lines to make for three trucks(72 f250, 70 f250, 66 f250).

I finally found and ordered the missing wires for the temp sensor connector and they showed up today.
I am trying to change from my original plan for the upper radiator hose. My aftermarket radiator isnt working for factory hoses. So, I was going to try to delete the radiator hose adapter that I have for the dual temp sensor and go to a different thermostat housing with a spot for the sensor. Of course y ou can find them all day long for thermo housings that use the small(2 and 1/8")thermostats. My intake manifold needs one that uses the 2.5" thermostat. I think I am going to have to use a flexible upper hose regardless of the path. It will just look better without the adapter though. I am going to use the adapter for now unless I find what I need soon. I can wire it in now though and make sure it will reach either spot in case of change.

The wing window was the only thing I am not totally happy with. It came out good for having to glue the vertical side in but it will never be as solid as the original rivets. My 70 f250 has good wing window rubber so I will not replace them. If they were bad, I would do it again though. Aside from that I finished up some smaller items today. I replaced the vent hoses on both axles and the transfer case. I finally got around to getting gear oil in the steering gear and then wire up the dual temp sensor for the e-fan.
I might change it later and get rid of the small threaded adapters and just drill and tap the hose adapter to 14M. Most wiring is just taped together here ant there for routing purposes.
I will probably use a flexible upper hose to connect adapter to thermo housing.
Thats where I located the Volvo fan relay. It makes it pretty easy.

The harbor freight double flare tool that I started with wasnt very good at all. I couldnt make good enough flares with it. It was worth the try but 3 or 4 times longer with pulling lines back off and re-flaring. So, I got this tool in.
This is a breeze making the double flares.
A little blurry. That was the first one. I didnt have to remake the lines. I just cut the flare off and re-flared. There was plenty of bend in them to readjust. I found it for around $160, but I have fuel lines to make for two trucks and maybe brake and fuel lines for my dads 66 f250. I made the three from the rear axle to the junction behind the cab. It started raining. Next time.

On Sunday, I finished re-flaring the rest of my double flare brake lines with the new tool. Very easy. I had an extra pressure differential valve off my f350 parts truck, so I replaced that too for just in case. Adding brake fluid will tell the tale. I also finished wiring the reverse light plug to the harness. I went to put on the new radiator hoses and couldnt find my hose clamps all of the sudden. I just recently seen those too. If I would get around to finishing all my grounds now, I think all I need to do to fire it up would be adding the fuel line. I also welded up a small adapter for my shifter **** since the one I got for the T18 had different threads. I didnt get a picture of it but it was nothing spectacular. I took a 7/16" 14 thread nut and welded a 3/8" 24 thread bolt to it so I could get rid of the grip the PO had on it.
