My converted ammeter to voltmeter just showed up today from Rocketman(RCCI).
I left the original face on it. Cleaned my other gauges up and put the instrument panel back together.
I was going to get upper and lower valance on and the grille today. Then as I pulled out baggies of hardware, it was too dirty. I have it all soaking in vinegar for today. I will get it all on tomorrow. I have new seals for my heater as well. Might do that later tonight.

Just need to get the hood on to protect the wiring that is about to happen, since it is outside.
I used my 71/72 grille for now because I have 71 inserts for it. I am planning on using my 70 grille later. I like the look of those better.
Forgot how many damn fender bolts go on the front end of these trucks. Put the wiper assembly/motor back in also.

Firewall cover came in yesterday and looks good. Havent put it under dash yet to check fit. When I put my hood hinges on the truck and bolted them down, found a stripped nut. Cant remember what they are called but the rectangular ones that are welded in like on the core support. I had another one laying around so I tacked it to the other one. If the whole front end wasnt on, I would have replaced it properly. I put the hood on too. My passenger side hinge seems a little off though. When I put the hood down, the back doesnt go down all the way, then it can be pushed down and look right. I have to check and see if I have another hinge off parts truck, I cant remember.

Needed some replacement electrical things that I broke on my power distribution box from the JY yesterday. Not sure how long it was there but a 71 f250 had showed up. There wasnt much of anything that was good on it except hood hinges and the solid rear window that I need eventually. I thought I might need a passenger hood hinge, so I got them both as well. There was a 64 f600, I think, sitting there too that was pretty stripped.

My firewall pad and my last batch of seals that I got came from https://chuckstrucksllc.com/. Everything has looked good and worked well. Yes, the hinges did get lubricated good with some thin stuff from work that is called Super Slick Slick Stuff. Yes that is really the name. I havent messed with the hood much in the last couple days but it might be getting better, not sure yet. I opened and closed it a couple times and it wasnt hanging up as much. I do have another set of hinges if I need them though.

I went to put the firewall cover in and had to pull wiring harness back out. Then cut the insulation out of the cut outs. I had to trim two small spots to make it fit but other than that, it fit well.
These pics, I was still fitting it. I had to get the clutch/brake pedal assembly in and also the gas pedal assembly. I did it all bass ackwards of course and it took forever. I think I had the clutch/brake on three times and off two. I will get a better pic for you fe390pc.
