How about Remote Start and BLIS? Have those?

 

We get Fleet XL trucks. In the lot of 8 or see 2020s, as best I can tell.

The ones that had the nicer 4.2 screen:

• did NOT have remote start
• did have Sync3
• Did have Fleet Option for BLIS

The ones that had the older smaller screen:

• Did have Sync3
• Did NOT have remote start
• Did NOT have Fleet option for BLIS

Good thought but it's not the 10 speed. This truck has the 7.3 and 10 speed but 2.3" IPC.

That does help. Seems to be Sync 3 AND BLIS.

 

IIRC if you get an xlt with the back up assist and 360 camera you get the Lariat cluster now?

 

truck in my signature has basic screen, absolutely basic with no back up camera, my wife's Basic 2015 Honda fit has Blu-tooth and a back up camera LOL, To this day my newer super long and wide truck did not come with a back up camera LOL. Still love my truck though, still want to upgrade the sound system in it.

 

That's what I have seen looking at trucks online at dealers' lots.

 

I have a 2020 XL/STX/FX4 and have Sync 3 with the 4.2 display.

I do have the Ultimate trailer tow camera system, or whatever it's called, but no BLIS or remote start.

I have this option. So this may be the option that triggers the 4.2 inch screen

 

Its the Ultimate Camera System that added the 4.2" IPC to your truck. Its what added it to my 2019 as well.

 

Yes, but the original question is what option triggers the 4.2 screen.

The minimum package required to get the 4.2 may be the hitch prep package, seeing as just STX and Sync 3 doesn't add it.

 

I'll go with either of these two adds it:

• Ultimate Camera Pkg
• BLIS

Yup, its BLIS. Here's a XL/STX with just BLIS (no Ultimate Camera, 5th Wheel Prep, etc) and has the 4.2" IPC

but post #38 contradicts that. I wonder if they flip a coin to figure it out.

 

Post #38 has Ultimate Camera Pkg though. As Post #42 suggestions, either BLIS or Ultimate Camera will give it 4.2" IPC
