The kids have been stationed in San Antonio and Corpus Christi before. Clayton's oldest sister was born when they were stationed at Corpus Christi. We went down to visit at each place, but we flew both times.
Now that the Warden is retired a 'road trip' may be in order,

Good to know. I saw your pictures of San Antonio.

Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
The Good: Baby Clayton passed his car seat test this morning and after a couple of minor tests and a procedure, should be heading home as early as this afternoon.
The Bad: Went straight from the Doctors office with the Warden to the Hospital. She's been readmitted. Looks like the sepsis / infection is returning coinciding with a reaction to one of the meds and the wound is not healing the way it should. A triple whammy. Cultures and labs being run now and possibly more surgery tomorrow.
The Ugly: I can't get into the Hospital to see the Warden. Locked Down, can't get passed the front doors. I couldn't even take her up to her room. They sent a nurse down to get her.
If anyone sees a massive plume of smoke in NW Oregon, nothing to worry about...it's just me!

Between working OT and my F250 project life is pretty busy. Really can’t be bored as an adult... its more like you have things you don’t want to do.
Sorry to hear about the warden. Keep us updated when you know more!

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
Absolutely irritated beyond reason that they won't let me into the room to stay with the Warden. The US Navy can figure out how to keep parents with kids in NICU, but this hospital can't even figure out how to let dad's in for the birth of their child.
Heard from the Warden. Looks like surgery first thing in the morning. Haven't heard a thing on the labs or tests. They did a CT around 1700 this afternoon that the Doc ordered at 1000 this morning. Certainly glad it wasn't a burst appendix with a chance of peritonitis. She had choke down two barium shakes before the CT. Not sure why she needed two. She said they have a bunch of different flavors now. The first one she ordered a Chocolate Mocha. Then she had to have a second so she ordered the Berry. She says they still taste like chalk and never ever order the Berry!
That's a good point!
I was thinking, especially on the close ups, that Ripley's Believe It Or Not had lost one of their plastic animatronics. I've commented several times about how plastic she looks.

Bend OR......just down the road from me....used to be a nice rural town...….I hope they can avoid all the yuppies that have moved in from California and are trying to ruin it. . . . .
