The VIN decoder web page recognizes the VIN, but doesnt break it down very well. Most Ford systems will only go back 8-10 yrs.

1FT = FoMoCo USA - Ford Truck - Complete Vehicle.
N = Class ? Hydraulic Brakes - the rest is the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating range.
W21 Series code = F250 but what follows, I dunno.
S = Engine code.
B = Check digit, FoMoCo use only.
Y = 2000.
E = Mahwah NJ Assembly Plant (U = Louisville).
E57248 = 2000 Numerical Sequence of Assembly, the trucks specific serial number.
Over the past 13 years, I've decoded over 1,000 VIN's on FTE and if my *microfiche viewer bulb wasn't burned out...I could decode this too.
My 1990/2001 Ford Truck Parts Catalog is on microfiche.

This is the ETIS report for my truck prior the time that Ford took most all their data offline. Unless you can get someone to get an ETIS printout, you are probably not going to be able to get all the data you seek.
The ETIS would give the following info, which is the info he seeks....
