There's a pre '15 Body style running around me with the 5.0 badge in it and it looks good.

Don’t.

That moniker was made for the Mustang and that’s where it belongs.

How would a Mustang look with a Lariat badge on it.......awful.

In closing, you are aware that the V8 engine in the F150 is larger than 5.0 liters right?

No I have a 2018 F 150 XLT Super Crew and it has the Gen 3 Coyote 5.0 V8. 395 HP torque is 400. The major difference from the Mustang 5.0 is a lower compression ratio to run lower octane fuel.

You do you man, I'm not big on adding badges or stickers myself. I've seen some out there with them and they don't look bad, just not for me.

I think he was being a wise guy, technically the old motor was 302 cubic inches or 4,951cc and when they went to the PTWA cylinder liners displacement was bumped to 307 cubic inches or 5,035 cc, making is slightly larger than 5.0 liters (though still rounds down).

Fun fact, the old 5.0L from back in the day was technically a 4.9L when rounded correctly

I recently added the stainless steel F-150 badge that fits in the stamped F-150 on the tailgate. So far all positive reactions. And the V8 is still marked as a 5.0 from Ford so that's good enough for me. I guess part of my interest is the Ecoboost trucks all have a badge but nothing for the V8.

Makes me wonder what kind of marking (or not) the 3.3L NA engine has? How would one tell the difference between the 3.3L V6 and the 5.0L V8? (besides the sound of course)...

Back to the original question. I am a less badge kind of guy. Years ago I had my Honda Accord (going W_A_Y back here, so don't ask how long ago) completely de-badged. No "Honda". No "Accord", No "CVCC". No nothing. Looked a little like a jelly bean, but I liked it.

I don't mind badges if done tastefully. The supercharged 2014 Mustang GT in Gotta Have It Green in my driveway has that chrome 5.0 badge and it pops.

Do whatever you like. 5.0 ranges from 4.951 to 5.049 liters. The current 5.0 is, as stated above, is 307 cubic inches.

The classic 5.0, which has absolutely nothing in common (except for the 5.0 name) with any Coyote engine, was 4.9 liters.

You can have almost any badge you want made here

Lol I didn't realize I started a thread about the intricate displacement variations of the 5.0. I just thought the 5.0 badges would look cool on my Race Red F-150

The important thing is if YOU like how it looks. We don't matter and will probably never see your truck in person...except if you post a pic of it.
I debadge all my vehicles. I took off everything that didn't leave a hole, including the Ecoboost badges and FX4 sticker.
But this is your truck, not mine. If it's the badge I'm thinking of, it could look good...depending where you put it.

Not everyone has the same tastes in style, so it is best just to do what you like so you will enjoy your truck that much more.
I know you are just soliciting opinions of your idea. On a forum you will get differing opinions based on peoples individual preferences.
Your opinion matters most.
