I have a 2016 f250 xl, and get lots of road noise around the doors. Seems like pretty thin door seal moulding. Is the door seal the same on every trim f250/350 or is it betterl from a lariat or platinum trim level ? If so could I get that from the dealer and replace it?

 

My Lariat is quiet as a mouse in the cab. All I can hear is light hum from the Toyo Tires and of course the 6.7 rattles a bit when I get on it.

You might want to give this a try maybe your seals are loose?

 

I would think all the door seals are the same. My truck is quiet too and the seals are plushy. I did the door seals mod anyway but it didn't make a difference in noise. It only made the doors harder to close.

 

I dont recommend that door seal mod. I done it on an F150 and you had to slam the doors to get them to latch. It was horrible in the winter when the seal was cold and stiff!

 

I did the door seal mod already, Unfortunately there is no difference. It still has no fluff to the door seal, and I can stick my fingers in there and feel air.
