Driver Door won't latch sometimes

Having an issue lately with my drivers door not closing at all. Doesn't happen all the time. Mostly when its really warm out. But when it's not that hot out the door works fine. I've tried to spray some penetrating oil and grease in the latch area in the door. Any idea on what the problem can be? Thanks.
2013 F250 Lariat.

Is it misaligned/sagging? or is the latch not closing around the bar?

Seem to recall the same issue some years back on my 2011. Think the dealer replaced the latching mechanism inside the door. Didn’t take long and I don’t recall it being very expensive. Probably an easy diy

It's not closing around the bar. No matter how hard I slam it. Alignment is fine. Not sagging.

Checked my records. Dealer replaced my door latch in 2014 for about $180.

Was for the same issue you describe
