Popa Johns '77 build thread

OK I will start this a little later in the week. I have to go through a LOT of pics to find the ones that pertain to this thread. I will also update periodically as I make progress on the "Mistress"

Top right... My Dad ordered the NEW F150 received it in march of 77 and totaled it in April of 77. Crushed the cab. He was charged with DUI and the truck sat for 4 years before he could afford another cab. Bottom right... the new cab(used from Kansas) We bought it after my dad had it back on the road for about 6 mos. and the same day the OLD girl wrote it off. NO insurance as she was on her way to the agent but forgot her purse and on her way back to the house got nailed making a left hand turn. I told the agent just forget it and I would fix it !!!

The pics of me fixing that last wreck were lost in a flood many years ago. I am still looking for some.

Ok been TOO long for an update on what I am doing... Busy with life and the little woman. So here are some more pics or the frame. I replaced the left side rad saddle/bumper horn and cleaned up all the body mounting brkts, front suspension, spare tire carrier and primed them with Jon Deere primer.

Afternoon Gerry and all. Maybe not this week, just finished with changing out the snows and an filter and oil an grease on the Dodge. Still got to get the sno blower off the lawn tractor so I can haul those birch blocks to the back and get them stacked so they can air dry B4 some *** hat steal them. lol Damm those snos are heavy... tuckered me right out. I am working on getting my stereo hooked back up after I got the amp back, changed a few things and added 2 more speakers for the CD player and turntable. Gonna sound nice. Old girl NOT impressed lol Asked if I was deaf. Calmed her down with a short schooling in stereo and a pat on the *** and she was good. Anyway lots to keep me busy. How you guys handling this quarentene? I see trudope is still going ahead with raising that friggin carbon tax.... and the new pay raises they got. Us seniors suffer as do the low income ppl. Well take care and stay safe TTYL
