2002 F350 V10 Replce engine oil pan gasket
I just found out that my father's 2002 F350 V10's oil pan gasket is leaking. I thought it might be the rear main seal, but upon closer inspection, I only see leaks around gasket toward transmission.
I know that the engine has to come out (or raised up significantly) to remove the oil pan. But is it possible to replace gasket without removing the engine?
I think there will be enough room to clean gasket surface, but I'm not sure if the gasket can be installed. I'm worried about the oil pickup tube the most.
