Tire Pressure for 2003 F250

I have a 2003 F250 2wd Crewcab with a V10 engine and 265/75/16 tires. So far I have about 6,400 miles. The label on the truck says to run 50psi on the front and 70psi for the rear. 50psi on the front just seems to soft for me, so I've been running them at 60psi. The ride is a little firm, but feels pretty good. Does anyone have any suggestions as far as comfort and wear with front/rear tire pressure? The truck is still kinda new to me, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

well you probably know that front tires wear differently than rear tires. i would say that 60 should be ok on the front but depending on what kind of tires you have it might be pushing it. the recomended pressure of 50 psi might feel a little soft but if you over inflate your tires too much you will start to wear the tread unevenly. basically what i am saying is if you want to run 60 psi you should be ok but keep an eye on the tread on your front tires especially, if the middle of the tire starts to look like the tread is wearing down faster than the edges you have too much pressure. cutting it back might make it feel soft but you will save a lot of life on your tires.
