Is it 18 or 20 V? 20 V seem to last way longer.

Drill came with two battery's probably have it now about 5 years. I bought a second drill because it didn't cost much more than what they wanted for a battery. I've had my impact for about a year but haven't used it much..

Five yrs is pretty good. Some of my 18 V batteries never lasted that long.

Hopefully 20 V DeWalt batteries are much better than the 18 V ones, they certainly cost more.

I'm impressed with DeWalt tools and so is my son, he uses them every day building decks.

I don't use them very often now but they are my favorite power tools.

I still use my side grinders and cut off saw but that's about it for electrical tools.
