Lots of road kills like that on the highways around here, moose and deer..

A wk later another deer got hit less than a half mile further away. Doesn't seem to be any shortage of them lately.

When I first moved here you rarely seen a deer, now there are hundreds of them and the moose herd is less than it used to be..

I haven't seen moose for a couple of yrs and I don't want to.

Last trip to Dryden we seen one, seen them all the time when I was traveling to and from work..most of the deer seem to be close to town although there is the odd moose that wanders in..had one in my yard once and it stepped on the front deck but didn't knock on the door....lol

Yesterday a fox came strolling thru the yard like it owned it.

I have one that goes through my yard all the time, part of its route looking for dinner..fewer cats wandering around so he may have invited them for dinner...lol

A few yrs ago I shot a fox that siting in my cat shed, that's one of very few animals I would ever shoot in my yard.

I would have done the same if it were hunting my animals if I ever had any animals..

I let foxes be if they stay out of my yard, in my yard is a much different story.

Deer and moose can occasionally be found in Saskatoon, tons of rabbits as well.

My yard is full of rabbit tracks, they like being in the yard to keep away from coyotes and foxes.

A few years ago a rabbit destroyed some of our shrubs eating the bark off them. Don't see too many in town or at least I don't. North of town there is lots..
