We've been lucky and getting the rain when we need it but with so much heat the rain just couldn't keep the ground moist..

try to imagine what it would be like without any rain for almost 2 months, that`s what it`s like here.

We have a lot of days the forecast says it's going to rain and it doesn't, just spoils your plans if you are depending on the forecast...

Same here but only 30-40% chance of rains so you pretty well know it`s not going to happen.

Not too likely we`ll get any rain till all the combines are rolling.

Most are equipped that way from the factory, some have duals or rubber tracks. So far this yr it`s way to dry to need either.

I`d hate to be run over by one, you`d never hear of me again!
It took me a while to find this picture to post it here. Here`s a picture of my land renter`s cracked combine rim last fall, it`s almost 6 ft tall and a 1/2'' thick. I helped my Bobcat to help take it off and put back on, even with no fluid it`s too way heavy to move by hand. A new rim was $4,500 plus labour to switch the tire over.

Try your local wreckers.
That’s a closed thread, but it’s all right. I’ll keep looking around and probably find one eventually.
