No, we went to Dryden today..taking a break from the Mercury build and going to get things set up for the sidewalk..I have to order another rust area patch before I can go much further..

 

Where do you order parts from? Last wk I ordered from George Moir and The Old Car Center the same day, I got my order from Moir yesterday.

 

I emailed Midfifty but haven't heard back from them yet. So far they seem to be the only ones who carry this patch panel..

 

Which patch panel? I got all 4 cab corners with no problem from the Old Car Center.

 

Above the windshield, it's the overhang brow piece. It's full of pin holes

 

What`s the shipping on it? I don`t see it listed in the Old Car Center`s catalog.

 

Old car center has a crappy catalog..don't know what the shipping is, they haven't contacted me yet but I don't care what the shipping is at this point, I need the part..

 

Old Car Center`s catalog isn`t the best but their call center is pretty good. I won`t deal with Midfifty because of their overly expensive Canadian shipping rates.

 

I can give them a call but they will likely have to wait until it's shipped to them before they ship it to me so the cost will likely be the same either way. I just checked Dennis Carpenter and they sell them too and are in stock..I'll call the Old Car Center though and see what they say.. mid fifty wants $165 and and Dennis C want $159

 

I only order from Canadian sources, all shipping charges are quoted up front.

 

I get shipping quotes from them too, no surprises..not all Canadian stores can provide the parts you need and have to bring it in from the states anyway..

 

Likely all parts come into Canada from the USA,Canadian suppliers get way better shipping rates than consumers do.

 

But they still charge a hefty sum to ship the parts depending who you are dealing with.. I like the Old Car Center with the free shipping if you spend enough..
